Cirelli - Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC 2020
Grapes
Trebbiano is the most cultivated grapes in Italy, every region has its special Trebbiano; with this grapes are produced wines not very structured but with good aromas, not votated to ageing. Of course there’re very great exceptions. In Abruzzo the Trebbiano grows over the hills facing to the Adriatic Sea and on the relief within the region.
The DOC Trebbiano d’Abruzzo was been created in 1972; these wines have to be produced with not less than 85% of Abruzzo’s Trebbiano, Tuscany’s Trebbiano or Bombino Bianco.
There’re are also Trebbiano Superiore and Trebbiano Riserva, they’re different from basic Trebbiano for a lower yield and higher alcoholic rate.

Tasting
Straw yellow in color, the aromas show all the potential of this Abruzzo Trebbiano, with young aromas of green apple, hay and cut grass, crisp and clean, not intense but easily recognizable.
Good freshness and moderate sapidity, slightly structured. Citrus finish.
Pairing
Risotto with herbs or with prawns, pasta with tomatoes and goat cheese, white fish with parsley, fresh salami.

Hofstatter - Riesling Mosel Trocken Dr. Fischer 2020
Wine
This wine has been produced by Martin Foradori Hofstatter and Nik Weis of Weingut St. Urbans-Hof together, after them bought the Dr. Fischer vineyard, in Mosella. According the German sugar-based classification, trocken (it means ‘dry’) is a wine with low level sugar, from 4 to 9 g/liter.
Grapes
The Riesling is the classical Mosella’s grapes, when young wines are produced with it, they’ve apple and lime aromas, but when ageing Riesling wines have honey and dried fruit in the nose and mainly the typical hydrocarbon and gun powder. Highly mineral when at its best, it has an high typical terroir acidity.

Taste
Intense but short nose, yellow peach and pineapple, then green apple and slightly honey; the mineral scent is really weak, yet. On the palate a good acidity and the aromatic hints of yellow peach returns; the finish begins to turn towards more mineral scents, chalk.
Drink again in 2 or 3 yrs
